Newport High Rugby Academy has a squad that caters to the development of two teams. The squad compete in the WRU U18 College League, the South East Wales U18 League and the Association Of Colleges U18 League.

The squad comprises of a great mix of students who are studying A-levels, B-TEC's and Welsh Baccalaureate programs who are looking to develop their technical, tactical, mental and physical attributes that are essential for modern day rugby players. Over the two years they will develop themselves as both players and as academics and attain options in the rugby world and the academic, be it university, apprenticeship or career pathways.
